☀️RISE Pediatrics: A More Connected Approach to Pediatric Care

Learn how there is more flexibility in health care through Direct Primary Care at RISE Pediatrics

By April Maloney of RISE Pediatrics & Laura McElwain Colquhoun, Macaroni KID Publisher June 10, 2026

Most parents have been there. Your child spikes a fever on a Saturday. A rash appears out of nowhere. You have a question that isn't quite urgent, but you'd still like an answer.

Traditional healthcare doesn't always make those moments easy.

RISE Pediatrics focuses on more connection, more continuity, and more space for real conversations about your child’s health as they grow into healthy, happy humans.

What Is Direct Primary Care?

Direct Primary Care is a membership-based model that allows families to have direct access to their child's provider without many of the barriers that come with traditional healthcare.

Instead of feeling like just another appointment on the schedule, families have an ongoing relationship with a provider who knows their child, understands their history, and is available when questions come up.

It's pediatric care designed around the needs of families, not the limitations of the healthcare system.

What Makes RISE Different

Children change quickly. Questions come up. Concerns evolve.

Having a provider who knows your child can make a big difference.

Families at RISE Pediatrics aren't starting from scratch at every visit or explaining the same concerns over and over again. They have a provider who gets to know their child over time and becomes a trusted resource as they grow.

Families value:

  • Being able to reach out when questions come up
  • Having time for real conversations about their child's health
  • Working with a provider who knows their child and family over time
  • Receiving thoughtful guidance instead of quick answers
  • Having a clear plan when concerns arise
  • Building a relationship rooted in trust, familiarity, and continuity
